Ground Cumin 50gr

Cumin is an aromatic spice mainly used in Middle Eastern and Indian recipes. Its color is earthy brown, its flavor slightly bitter, its seed tiny, and the scent it gives off is incredibly fragrant. Toast it, crush it in a mortar, or sauté the seeds or grind them in a mill to enjoy its full aromatic intensity.

Give a warm aromatic touch to pilaf by simply sautéing a few cumin seeds with oil in a pot, adding the rice, sautéing for a few seconds, then adding hot water and simmering. Cumin pairs well with kebab, lemon chicken, meatballs, red lentils, hummus and legume dishes.
