Valerian 50gr

Valerian is one of the most popular herbs. It's a perennial shrub also known as wild elder, spikenard, or "kentranthos". It grows small pink and white flowers in spring and summer. Valerian root has a particularly strong smell and we use it to make an infusion. Not everyone finds the resulting brew pleasant-tasting. It has dark tones, an earthy flavor and a very intense aroma.

After rinsing the valerian root, steep it in a cup of hot water for 10 minutes. Strain, serve and enjoy.

Tips:

Always use fresh water, not water that has been sitting in the kettle or teapot for hours.

Optionally, add your preferred sweetener.

Once made, you can also refrigerate it and enjoy it cold if you like.
